New Jersey had its share of ups and downs. Cory was able to come out in FP1 on the newest Dunlop tires(First weekend for all of the racers) and set the pace @ 1:35.909.Looking forward to Q1 Cory was able to qualified in 5th with a 1:34.701 and new he had more for Q2.
Q2 was a tuff session, with a crash Cory was not able to better his time he finished in 5th overall in Qualifying and with a few hours of hard work the team was able to put him back onto him Spears Racing sponsored KTM390.
Cory was able to bounced back in race 1 came away with a 2nd place finish, closed the overall points lead to 4 behind Ben Smith and was looking forward to Sundays race 2.
Sunday's race Cory was able to finish a well deserved 2nd place and was able to leave New Jersey with a 5 point lead in the Championship and looking forward to the season finally @ Barber
