While the SV1000 overbore option does add excellent power, it is a bit expensive due to the cost of cylinder boring and re-plating. When you order a big bore kit from us, your cylinder will be completely disassembled, parts inspected for wear and documented. (if items need repair we will contact you first). After disassembly your original plating will be removed chemically to expose the aluminum casting. Then your cylinder will be chemically cleansed and precision-mechanically prepared to the specific size required. Your cylinder will be coated and then diamond honed with the latest honing technology; then match-fit to your new big bore.
